A risograph is a stencilled print, building the printed image one coloured layer at a time. Due to this process each image can have a slight difference giving them a unique appearance. It uses soy ink to print each layer making it an environmentally friendly way of printing. The images produced have a newspaper or painted like quality to the finish which is part of the charm of riso printing.
